Week 4: 6/12-6/18 Reference Sources Cassell & Hiremath Chapter 4,5,6,8,9,10 (skim) Discussion #2 Tracie Kreighbaum This week we're going to do something a little different. The reading assignment in Cassell & Hiremath (chapters 4,5,6,8,9,10) is all about different reference sources. Your assignment is to ask three questions to your classmates that can be answered by at least one of the difference sources discussed in the chapters (databases, dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc). Ask a variety of questions, where each can be answered by a different source. Then, pick one person's questions, answer them, and talk about what specific source you used and why. Where you both thinking of the same sources? Scenario One Patron on phone: Yes.
