Compressive Compositions: Library Science
A compressive composition is a single surface inscription of a concept, process, or relationship network meant to convey as much relational knowledge as can be pictured in a 'deep' surface.

Why? If our memory works better with visual images...this may be a more effective learning tool as well as group teaching tool. Broader in conception than a map, diagram, chart, storyboard. Not limited to graphic-only, text-only, or mixed display. Static.

Constraints: How they related to the 2nd law of thermodynamics? Are pictures(Gibson sense) constrained in a thermodynamic sense?

What are some of the things about the library and education that i have observations to make?

Things would seem to be easier if a process map of the library was available for reference. What are the functional properties of a library. "Thermodynamically" how does it maintain and grow itself in a various contexts? What is the controlled object list and vocabulary of the library world? Where are the boundaries and surfaces of the library? What types of project management practice are typical in the library world? What are the political areas where a library is active? What are the future directions of the library that seem good choices and those that seem harmful? In what ways can ideas from ecological psychology help make sense of library practices? Under what categories of groupings should the various library topic be organized under? What things are unique to library practice and what common to any institution structure? How does the library perform useful work beyond merely being a storehouse? What can systems theory idea bring to a discussion of information? What analogically processes can a library be compared to? The library seems to operate on two classes of objects - real objects and the information object that is linked those real objects. Are there more relationships? How do they affect library practice? What role does the library play in the dissemination of knowledge? In the creation of knowledge structures? What are the types of knowledge structures and which are most effective at dissemination?

Why do we single out the speed of light among the types of electro-magnetic waves as conserved? Isn't the speed of sound conserved? And those of other wavelengths? E = mc2 - light as the upper topological boundary of the structure of the world. A container edge, boundary.
